Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails Kit Installation - 2017 Ford F-150- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rail Kit with custom installation kit on a 2017 Ford F-150. Now this kit is gonna give you the rails for your bed which is gonna allow you to drop in your fifth wheel hitch. And something I'll point out is on a short truck like this, you are gonna want to get something that slides, that way you have clearance and the rails on this short bed truck are pretty far forward, but having the ability to hook up to your fifth wheel camper or trailer is a really nice option. So make sure you're choosing something that has that sliding ability to make sure that it can tow properly. And this rail system's really nice because if you ever need to have your truck bed usable to load it up, you can take your fifth wheel out of the rails and it's really not taking up much space. It's slightly raised, maybe just about three inches or so, but overall you still have all the use of your bed. more

Now these are gonna be an industry standard rail. The slots in them are gonna line up with all the 5th wheel hitches on the market. They're gonna allow you to drop your 5th wheel in place and then hook up and tow your 5th wheel camper. Right off the bat, you're gonna notice this real thick heavy duty black powder coat finish that's gonna keep your rails looking good for a long time and resist that rust and corrosion. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the CURT Custom-Fit Fifth Wheel Rails on a 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500. The rails are gonna make it to where you can drop in a number of different manufacturer fifth wheels because it is an ISR standard rating, meaning that it uses pretty much uniform matching up to your fifth wheel. So just make sure it follows into that normal standardization, and you're gonna be able to drop this in. So whether you're using the sliding, like today we have our CURT R20, which is really nice, it's got the carbide black that matches the rails, which is kinda cool. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2017 Ram 1500, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt Fifth Wheel Rail Kit. But before we get into that, why don't we take a minute check it out and make sure it's gonna work for you. If you're wanting to pull around a fifth wheel trailer you're gonna need a hitch in your truck to allow to do that. And this rail kit is gonna be a great start. So,, this is gonna have custom brackets that will bolt up to your Ram and then bolt up to the in bed rails here. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the BNW in bed rails for a 5th wheel on 2015 Chevy Silverado 3,500. Now, this is what it. Your rails are gonna look like when they're installed and you can see when you don't have your 5th wheel in place, you still maintain a lot of your bed space. It only raises up just maybe a inch or two and really that's not gonna take away a ton from your bed. And, when you are ready to put your fifth wheel in, it's gonna drop in. Now, this one is a standard size, so you have a bunch of different 5th wheels that are gonna work with these rails. more

B&W 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Base Rails Kit Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the B & W Fifth Wheel Rail Kit on a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500. This kit's gonna allow you to have industry standard rails in your bed. That way you can drop in your fifth wheel head and hit the road. Installation's pretty easy overall because these are universal. The brackets underneath the truck are actually custom fit so there's no real drilling except for the holes to pass the carriage bolts down. The rest of it uses just normal holes and hardware in the frame already and then we just kind of bolt it all together. more

Now this is gonna be rated at a good weight capacity for your fifth wheel trailer or your fifth wheel camper and it's gonna come in at a weight capacity of 18,000 pounds. So you're gonna wanna make sure you pick up a fifth wheel that can handle that. And also check to make sure that the truck can handle that before hooking up. But those are some pretty serious numbers to move some pretty serious weight. more

Now this is gonna be a great way to add a fifth wheel hitch to your vehicle and this is gonna use the standard rail system, so it's gonna accept a bunch of different fifth wheel hitches. And our neighbor today, they're using a Patriot from B&W, which I highly recommend. It's an awesome fifth wheel hitch that's a slider. So for a regular six and a half foot bed, that's gonna work really well without having to worry about hitting those cab corners. more

Having these rails in your bed allows you to hook up to a bunch of different above-bed fifth wheels, and it's gonna be pretty standard across the board as far as all your different brands that are gonna be able to work with this. If you have a B&W, like our neighbor has today, or a Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, or Valley, they're all gonna work with this standard size rail. Now, it's pretty standard. You just have two rails that are pretty universal, and then they go into the custom kit, which allows you to bolt it up to your vehicle. And overall it's not terribly hard. more
